Barbara Jean Ledbetter

Barbara Jean Ledbetter of Marietta, GA, passed away on Monday, June 19th. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Barbara worked as a banker in Fulton and Cobb County for more than 40 years. She loved people and enjoyed life and laughter. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Bobby L. Ledbetter, and daughter, Karen Powell. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Cantrell of Marietta, son Jeffrey Lamar Ledbetter and daughter-in-law Michele of Cartersville, and grandchildren Chad Cantrell, Kate Cantrell, Christen Cantrell, Bob Quinn, Tyler Ledbetter, Chloe Ledbetter, A.J. Powell, and Sarah Powell. A memorial service for Barbara will be held on Monday, June 26th at 11:30 a.m. at The Chapel at Tranquility Cobb Hospice and, will be officiated by Bob Quinn. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to a charitable organization of your choice in Barbara’s memory.  Services overseen by Medford-Peden Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta, GA.
