Ben Hagler Hellard

Ben H. Hellard, 93, of Marietta passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 10 AM at Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta.  Mr. Hellard served in the Army during World War II and received both a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.  Ben is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Sue Hellard and is survived by his sons, William "Bill" Hellard and Jerry Hellard; daughters, Cathy Smith, Becky Smithers, Susie Hayes, and Kelly Schell; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
