Carolyn Rose

Ruth Carolyn Rose, known to many as “Nanny”, passed away suddenly on January 4, 2018, at the age of 80. She was a loving, dedicated, selfless and patient wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, sewing and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She was an active member of Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church in Canton.

Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Robert “Bob” Rose, and her children, Gary, Barry (Jeanne), Lori (Jeff) and Karen (Terry).  Carolyn will also be forever remembered by her grandchildren, Britt (Jenny), Taylor, Morgan, Bonnie, Thomas, Payton, Patrick and Caroline, as well as her sister, Betty Hogan, her brother, John Brent, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

She was preceded to her heavenly home by her sons, Gregory and Brian.

A Memorial Mass and reception will be held to celebrate Carolyn’s life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church, 2941 Sam Nelson Road, Canton. Reverend Victor Reyes will be presiding. The family will be receiving
