Welcome to the memorial page for

Charlene Lee Baggette

September 2, 1957 ~ June 23, 2016 (age 58) 58 Years Old

Charlene Lee Baggette of Kennesaw, Georgia completed her journey on Earth and went home to be with her Lord on June 23, 2016. A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta.

Charlene was born on September 2, 1957 and was predeceased by her parents, Mary Elizabeth Powell Lee and Charles Fitzhugh Lee. Charlene is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Elizabeth Baggette of Kennesaw, Georgia, sisters, Peggy Lee Long of Roswell, Georgia, Vickie Lee Long of Marietta, Georgia and Beverly Carter of Kennesaw, Georgia and five nephews and one niece.

Charlene worked at Paper Connexion in Marietta, Georgia for 28 years. She was loyal, dedicated, and faithful; her knowledge and presence contributed substantially to the success of the company. She excelled in managing and maintaining business relationships. Charlene was well respected and admired by those in the industry.

Charlene had an infectious smile that lit up any room and could instantly brighten your day. She cared deeply for others; gave generously and lovingly to help meet the needs of those less fortunate. She had a heart of gold and truly touched everyone who knew her or came into contact with her. She had a particular heart for women and children who had been in abusive relationships and desired to minister to their needs. She also cared deeply and had great respect and admiration for our military and gave generously to charities in support of the veterans.

Charlene loved the Caribbean where she spent summer vacations with her sisters and other family members. She loved to spend time with her friends and family to laugh, listen to music, sing and dance. She also really enjoyed watching sports with her daughter and was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves and Falcons.

Charlene loved God and her family very much. She gave so much of herself as she listened to others in their time of hurting or need. She was just the best person you could ever hope to meet. She wanted to share the great love of Jesus, the power of His healing and restoration that comes only through the grace of God. She is a child of God and is in His presence singing the glory of his praises. Charlene will be greatly and sorely missed, but her memory and zest for life will live on forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to any of the charities listed below.
