He was my step-dad from 1998 to around 2004. He was a strict but loving father figure, and I was sad when he left my life. I'm even more devastated to find out about his death in this way...I wish I'd had contact with him and his family so that I could have known sooner. I don't know how he passed, but I hope it was peaceful. I love you, David. I truly hope you're at peace. ♥

He was a loving man, and a caring Father. It's sad to see him go, but I know deep down he's still with us and loving us from a far. I loved him so much, and it hurts but knowing 'Pawpaw,' he wouldn't want us to cry and be miserable but to go far in life. I love everyone, and I wish I was there... Much love to everyone, and to my mom and his Family. <3
