Kathy Ann Barnes

Kathy Ann Gibby Barnes, 60, of Cartersville, GA, passed away on September 16th, 2017. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, and daughter who will be greatly missed. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, William D. Gibby; and her brothers, Bill Gibby and Mark Gibby. She is survived by her daughter, Kristy Ann Barnes of Rockmart, GA; mother, Betty Gibby Rogers of Marietta, GA; sisters, Carol Williams of Ranger, GA, and Karen Graczyck of Jasper, GA; her brother, Gary Gibby of Waleska, GA; and her loving companion of many years, Ricky Lamanac. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 18th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held for Ms. Barnes on Tuesday, September 19th at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Medford-Peden Funeral Home with Dr. David Cooper officiating, with a procession to Moutiainview Park Cemetery to follow.
