Louie Roe Johnson, 85, passed away on June 23, 2017, in Fayetteville, Georgia.
He left the world better than he found it and was someone who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. Louie had and endless love of the Lord and his family. He was a deacon in his church. He was also a skilled maintenance engineer and a very talented carpenter. He had a big heart and an extraordinary love for all animals but cats were his favorite. He has a 3 year old cat named Gracie that was his companion. He was an “I love you” and “Call me when you get there” kind of dad. The bible had the answers to every problem. He was a gentle giant- a teddy bear. Louie loved roller skating and even more so when he was skating with all four of his children, playing softball, and horse shoes. On rainy days, Him and Iler, could spend hours playing dominos; they were Married 43 years.
He is survived by Daughter, Beth Black (Joe) of Fairburn; Stepson, Wade Ervin of Austell; Daughter, Lori Brewer-Snyder ( Randy) of Canton; Daughter, Angela Burnaugh (Robert) of Hilton Head, South Carolina; Son; Ramsey Johnson ( Jennifer) of Bremen; Brother, Larry Johnson of Talking Rock; Nephew, Hoppy Palmer; Nieces, Gaylon Brinson and Debra Thiesz. He also had 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

The Service will be Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11am in the Medford-Peden Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 4pm-8pm. Medford Peden Funeral Home will be overseeing all arrangements, 1408 Canton Hwy NE, Marietta, Georgia.
