Rachel Elliott

Rachel Bell Elliott age 77 of Marietta passed away August 25, 2017.  Rachel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.  She was retired as an administrative assistant for the Air Commander in Chief at Dobbins Air Force Base.  She was also a gifted piano player and vocalist and played piano for St. Stephen United Methodist Church for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George E. Elliott of Marietta; daughter and son in law, Kim and Mike England of Aiken SC; son; Ed Elliott of Rockmart; son and daughter in law, Anthony and Tammy Elliott of Marietta; sister, Virginia Holder of Ellijay; grandchildren, Christopher Elliott of Holly Springs, Anthony England of Frisco, TX and Steven England of Aiken, SC; great grandchildren, Birdie England, Alexa Elliott and Iasbella Elliott; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Medford-Peden Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Elliott officiating.  Entombment will be in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 6-8:30 PM at the funeral home.  Medford-Peden Funeral Home – Marietta, Ga is in charge of arrangements 770-427-8447
