Raymond Travis Frey

Raymond T. Frey, 89 of Marietta, GA passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Marietta with burial to follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Frey was a true man of God and served as a deacon, song director and adult Sunday school teacher for over 50 years at Fellowship Baptist Church. Although Raymond worked at Lockheed for many years, his true passion was buying and selling antiques. He was a well-known and accomplished Atlanta antique dealer, picker and appraiser. He worked with many antique dealers across the country. He is preceded in death by his son, Jonathon Frey, and is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Ted Frey; son, Daniel Frey and wife, Tobey Olsen; daughter, Bunny Frey; sister, Ilene Baker; grandchildren, Kristina Love, Diana Brown and Amanda Harvey; great children, Holliday Jane Harvey, Jax Brown and Sophie Belle Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 5PM to 8PM at Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta. In addition, Mr. Frey will lie in state at Fellowship Baptist Church until service time at 2PM on Wednesday.
