Adams, James (Jim) King, age 83, died of complications related to Diabetes on December 12, 2018. He is survived by his wife Marolyn (Sue) of 60 years, his son Michael (Scott), his daughter Kim, 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Jim was born in Wilmington, CA on November 4, 1935 to Harry Adams and Marian Saunders. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He spent many years working in the Retail Industry as a Computer Specialist, designing and installing POS systems.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he served his country, and gave back to his community and church. He loved to spend time with family and friends working on projects that supported others. He was a lifelong student and teacher who enjoyed sharing his knowledge as well as acquiring new skills. He loved sports, especially Braves baseball and college football.
Jim will be interred at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Marietta GA. The family will receive friends at the church at 1:00PM.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
