Marie H. Hooper, 88, of Acworth Georgia passed away peacefully on July 3, 2019. Marie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, mystery novels, and winning a good game of Yahtzee or Gin Rummy against anyone willing to play against her. Marie passed on a genuine love and faith in the Lord to her Family.

Born on April 1, 1931 to Xavier and Ana Gutfreund in Chaumont France, Marie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Randell Hooper, an infant son David Aaron Hooper, a daughter Catherine Miller and a granddaughter Jeanne Miller.

Marie leaves behind her children; daughter Mary Noel of Ohio, daughter Ruby and William Whisler of Georgia, son James Hooper of Georgia, son Randell and Sergio Mauri of Oregon, and son Francois and Jana Hooper of Georgia. Grandchildren; Sherry, Billy, Matthew, Anna, John Michael, Reese, Jessica, Alex, Scott and Brett, and several great grandchildren.
