Mary Lou Elliott

Mary Lou Elliott age 84 of Marietta passed away June 10th, 2018. She was a Queen and a Warrior. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. Mrs. Elliott was a member of Rose Creek Baptist Church and was a foot washing Baptist.  She had a deep love for the Lord and loved her church.  She was retired from F.W. Woolworth Co. after 42 years of service.

Preceded in death by her Husband of 42 years, George Elliott, and Mother, Alean Holbrook Reavis.

Mrs. Mary Lou is survived by Daughters; Nancy Elliott, and Future Son in Law, Jeff Sweeton of Marietta; Wanda (Randall) Jenkins of Marietta; Grandchildren; Jarrett Jenkins of Woodstock, Jason Jenkins of Marietta, and Josh Jenkins also of Marietta; and Great Granddaughter, Nora Jenkins of Woodstock.

A funeral service for Mrs. Elliott will be held, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Rose Creek Baptist Church. Presiding are Rev. David Abernathy, Rev. Tony Thomason, Rev. Wayne Wright, and Rev. Frank Ellis. Interment will be in Rose Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday, June 11, 2018 from 2-8 PM and Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 12-8 PM  at the funeral home.  Medford-Peden Funeral Home – Marietta is in charge of arrangements 770-427-8447
