Richard Grimsley

Richard Grimsley age 75, of Marietta passed quietly at home on November 30th, 2018. He was a very loving husband, brother, and uncle. Richard was an all around good guy, who never met a stranger. He dearly loved his parrots. Richard loved a lot of things including riding in his convertible and GMC pickup truck, music, books, RC cars, sitting on his deck watching and listening to the birds while reading his Bible, and the Marietta Square. But most of all he loved his home life and his job.

Richard is survived by his wife of 8 years, Janet Grimsley, his sister Janice Flanary of Bristol, VA; his nieces Kimberly (Chris) Smith, Wendy (Jeff) Ragan, and Sandy O’Ferrall and several great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of Medford-Peden Funeral Home on December 8th, 2018 at 1:00pm, family will receive friends from 12-1. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice in Richard's memory.
