Ruth A. Barnard

Ruth A. Barnard, 87, of Woodstock, GA, passed away on September 9th, 2017. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She had a sharp, witty sense of humor. Ruth was a faithful member of Bascomb United Methodist Church of Woodstock. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Barnard. Mrs. Barnard is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Mike) O’Brien of Springfield, MA, and Sharon (Roy) Wildes of Rome, GA; her sons, Bruce (Judith) Vreeland of Ware, MA, William (Carol) Vreeland of Feasterville, PA, and Matthew (Pamela) Barnard of Woodstock, GA; her brother, Frank (Pat) Northup of NY; as well as her grandchildren, Brandon, Elaine, Molly, Jessica, Cory, Karley, Noah, Natalie, and Kane. A celebration of life will be held at Bascomb United Methodist Church of Woodstock on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sonny Sellers and Reverend Earnie Allen officiating.
