Betty Jean (Boland) Raley

Betty Jean Raley (Boland), 86 of Marietta, died Saturday, March 7, 2020. Mrs. Raley, a Macon, Georgia native raised four children with her first husband, James H. Quarles. She remarried in 1974 to William D. Raley, and was employed by Control Data from 1970-1991. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Evans Hutto, her step-father, Claude Hutto, her husband, William Raley, her sister, Edith Lassiter, two daughters, Deborah McKneely and Deborah Roark, and two grandchildren, Keith Wilson and Shelly Fortner. She is survived by three sons, Stan Quarles, Mike Quarles, and Scott Quarles; three daughters, Arlene Milburn, Patricia Parsons, and Teresa Roden; 10 grandchildren, Stephen Milburn, Lori Enskaya, Shannon Burgess, Michelle Everly, Jeff McKneely, Kevin McKneely, Chad Quarles, Rachel Quarles, Brittany Raley and Deborah Quarles; 25 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A private service will be held Saturday, March 14th at 11am. Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta is in charge of arrangements.
