Dan Sager of Marietta, Georgia passed away August 4, 2023 at the age of 58. Dan was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on September 29th, 1964 to Dan and Rebecca Sager. He was a graduate of McEachern High School. Dan was a master builder and remodeler and shared his knowledge of his craft with many people and mentored the upcoming generations. Dan left Georgia in 1999 to move closer to his wife Karen’s family. Dan spent 20 years in Louisiana and certainly lived by the phrase “Laissez les bon temps rouler” Let the good times roll! He never met a stranger and was comfortable whether hanging with River Rats at the Chattahoochee or rubbing elbows with the wealthy homeowners he did work for. He had moved back to Georgia in 2020 to care for his mother and lived there until his passing.
Dan is survived by his mother, Rebecca Sager of Marietta; his sister, Sara Powell of Canton; his nephew, Mike Cochran of Woodstock and his two ex-wives, Karen Thomassee and Marsheila Sager, both of Carencro, LA, as well as his closest friend, Steven Doiron of Erath, LA.
There will be a gathering at Sara’s house on August 19th, 2023: 1230 Palm Ridge Trace, Canton, GA 30115.
