Donna Cunningham Obituary

Donna Cunningham of Woodstock, Ga. has left us to be with our Lord on August 6, 2020. Born to Ester Ethel Schennum and Orval Lewis Nold in Wahpeton, North Dakota on May 22, 1927 and one of 13 brothers and sisters. She later met her husband and soul mate (William Patrick Cunningham) in Oregon during the War and subsequently moved and resided in Corpus Christi, TX. Upon Pat’s retirement, they moved to Michigan and then to Woodstock, Ga to be closer to their daughter (Linda) and son (Billy) and their families. Married for 77 years before Pat’s passing in 2012, they both enjoyed being with and entertaining family and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, her husband Pat and her son William P. Cunningham, Jr. who passed in 2009. She is survived by her daughter Linda and her husband Patrick Comeaux of Woodstock, Ga; a son Michael Cunningham of Pegnitz, Germany; a daughter-in-law Patty Cunningham of Woodstock, Ga; grandchildren Patrick K. Jr and his wife Kami Comeaux of Brighton, Mi; Kim Comeaux of Acworth, Ga.; Kerrie Richards and her husband Perry Richards of Pacific Palisades, Ca; Ryan Cunningham and his wife Carissa of Arlington, Tx; Caroline & Mellissa Cunningham of Pegnitz, Germany and 6 great grandchildren Patrick Comeaux III, Morgan & Brooke Richards, Ty and Zachary Cunningham, Tracy Cunningham and numerous nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life ceremony for Donna will be held at 12:00 EST noon on Saturday, Aug 15 via Zoom over the Internet to allow family and friends from around the world to celebrate the time she was with us here on earth.

While we are saddened and grieved that she will no longer be with us here on earth, we know our Lord is rejoining and excited about another one of his children coming home to join his eternal presence (Psalm 116:15).
