Enriqueta “Katie” Whatley

Heaven welcomed Katie Whatley on June 8, 2022 where she will be greeted by her mother, father, husband, friends, 2 sisters and a brother who all have since passed on. She lived to the incredible age of 98 years and was a blessing to me, family and friends. She was born on December 24,1923 in Lima Peru. She later became a nurse and worked at St. Joseph and Northside Hospitals in Atlanta.  She also traveled around the world as a nurse and worked in various hospitals in Alaska and Saudi Arabia. She loved to travel and cook and passed those hobbies on to me. She was always on the go and full of energy!  

Per her request she will be cremated and her ashes to be spread in the ocean at Ft. Lauderdale beach.
