Janet E. Stockman, 87, of Kennesaw, Georgia died Monday, August 31, 2020 at Tranquility of Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta, after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 12, 1933, in Chestertown, Maryland, the daughter of the late George and Margaret Crist. She always held in her heart, her love for the eastern shore of Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay region.
Janet retired from Curtin Matheson Scientific in 1992 and enjoyed her retirement years with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Stockman of Kennesaw; three children, Scott Stockman (Lorraine) of Mansfield, Tx, two granddaughters Hannah and Kelley; Barbara Stockman Pang (Bernard) of Canton, Ga, one granddaughter Peyton Alexander; and Christopher Stockman of Los Angeles, Ca.
She is preceded in death her parents and her sister, Constance Grenier of Baltimore, Md.
Janet has requested that at her death her body be cremated, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, her celebration of life will be held as a private ceremony. She will be placed at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga.
