In her adult life, Janice was dedicated to raising her family while also training for a career in Massage Therapy. Thanks to her kind, giving nature, Janice gained many loyal clients over the years, and was able to improve their lives through her work at Massage Envy, She was well loved at her job, and her sweet, caring personality made her a “mom” to everyone she worked with. Janice recently retired from Massage Therapy due to issues with her eyesight, and despite that challenge she started painting and creating beautiful pieces of art.
Janice loved traveling to the beach and spending time with her dogs and family. She married her husband, Roger on a beach in Florida on April 13, 2006. She also enjoyed cooking, and always made sure that everyone was well fed. She recently became a grandmother, and she loved helping to care for her grandson Caden. Janice’s faith was very important to her, and she gave back to her community as a member at Noonday Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.
Janice is survived by her father Jimmy Givens, her husband Roger Alan Ayers and her younger brother Jerry Givens. She also had 2 children, her daughter Emily Anne De La Fuente who blessed her with her grandson Caden Steele, and her younger son, Justin Taylor Faulkner.
