Jewell Kuykendoll

Jewell Priest Kuykendoll went to her heavenly home April 25, 2023, in Powder Springs, Georgia, at the age of 92.

Jewell was born March 10, 1931, in Sylvania, Alabama, to Jefferson Priest and Ola Frost Priest. As a child, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she later met her future husband, Alton.

They eventually settled in Cobb County to raise their family. Jewell and Alton went on to have six children, and her family was of the utmost importance. A long time member of Open Bible Tabernacle, Jewell loved to share and show the compassion of Christ. She truly helped everyone she could. Jewell will be missed by all to know her.

Jewell is preceded in death by her husband, William Alton Kuykendoll; children Larry Kuykendoll, Kay Brady, Jo Shumate, Danny Kuykendoll; grandson Jason Kuykendoll.

Jewell is survived by her  sons, Mike Kuykendoll (Patty) and Marty Kuykendoll (Sandy), eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, once great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
