John Martin Reno peacefully passed away at 6:42pm on October 26th, 2020 to be with his Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 74 years. Born in Palmdale, California on June 10th, 1946 and is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Trudy Carol Reno and is lovingly remembered by his sons Timothy A. Reno (Amarillo, TX) James W. Reno and his wife Catelynn Reno (Villa Rica, GA) Daughter Melissa Gilbert (Waycross, GA) Stepson Mickey Leist (Acworth, GA) Stepdaughters Georgia Wilson (Mableton, GA) and Nanette Adams (Acworth, GA) Grandchildren Morgan Reno, Kathryn Reno, Lorali Reno, Anastacia Reno, Jake Gilbert, Emily Leist, Melanie Leist and Liam Wilson. Brothers (Late) Norman Reno, James Reno, Charles Reno, Joe Reno, Richard Reno, Frank Reno, David Reno and Raymond Reno, Sister (Late) Agnas Reno Firgas as well as several nieces and nephews. As a young boy he grew up in Oro Grande, California and at the age of 18 he enlisted in the Army and served two combat tours in Vietnam and then went on to serve in the Marine Corps and went on to retire. He also worked for Roy Rogers on a Project at Apple Valley Inn, as well as owning and operating his own landscaping business for nearly 40 years retiring from that in February of 2018 and spent the rest of his life enjoying family and friends. John, you will truly be missed!

A public visitation will be held on Monday November 9th, 2020 at Medford-Peden Funeral home from 5-8pm
Services will be held on Tuesday November 10th,2020 at Medford-Peden Funeral Home from 9am-12pm with burial to follow at Georgia National Cemetery
