Judith C. Ingalsbe

Judith Ingalsbe was born on January 31, 1940 in Alexandria, Virginia. She was the daughter of Maurice and Mildred Crabill.
 

She is survived by her husband Nelson Ingalsbe of Marietta, GA, her daughter Ellen Rich-Fox, of Jasper, GA, her son Marty Fox of Mableton, GA, and her sister, Joyce McGurk of Williamsburg, VA. She is also survived by six step-children, Angela Clark, Dwayne Ingalsbe, Carol Robertson, Barbara Ingalsbe, Farrell Ingalsbe, and James Ingalsbe, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and grand-dogs.

Judith had a passion for flowers. She owned and operated the Flower Garden Florist shop off the Marietta square for many years. She then became an administrative assistant, serving at Scottish Rite Hospital, E-Smith Heating and Air, and Advertising by Emmie.

Judith was a fun-loving and caring wife, mother, step-mother, and MeMaw. She knew how to find the joy in every moment, and always had a smile to share. She was a gentle and sweet presence in the lives of everyone she knew. Their happiness was her happiness.

She was an extraordinary, wonderful cook and holiday hostess with the most-est. She loved every holiday, decorated to the fullest, and truly showed her love by cooking for everyone. She would sometimes say “If you leave here hungry, it’s your own fault.” Her joyous smile, laugh, and caring heart will be missed by all that knew her.
