Linda Catherine Markham, age 60, of Oxford, Alabama died on February 23, 2019 after her third ferocious battle with cancer. Born December 3, 1958 in Chicago to Melvin Jedrzejak and Beverly Adams-Jedrzejak (Prokop) the family lived in Raytown, Missouri and later moved to Marietta, Georgia. She graduated Sprayberry High School and later attended Jacksonville State University. She is survived by her father and mother, her devoted husband Scott Markham of 38 years, son Kevin Markham of Davenport, FL, daughter Kelly Miller of Roanoke, AL, granddaughter Brinkley Markham of Davenport, FL, brother Jeff (Julie) Jedrzejak of Kennesaw, GA, sister Judy (Billy) Montgomery of Newnan, GA, Toni (Greg) Abernathy of Ellijay, GA, Nikki (Robert) Trevino of Marietta, mother in love Millie Markham of Ellijay, GA and many nieces and nephews. During her battles with cancer and because of her natural aptitude for wit and sarcasm, Linda had friends on social media from all over the world. She supported many in their battles as she understood the fight for thirty years. The family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
