Margaret 'Linda' Nickelson

Linda of Woodstock, Ga. Went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 17, 2023, at the age of 70.

Linda was born on August 9, 1953, in Marietta, Ga to Frank and Margaret Gaines. She was the eldest of four girls. She graduated with honors from Mercer University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal law.

Linda is proceeded in death by her parents Frank Gaines and Margaret Mullis Gaines, daughter Joann Boatright and sisters Carolyn Gaines-Harrell and Patricia Gaines-Miller.

Linda is survived by her loving husband Charles E. Nickelson. Her sister Joy Gaines-Howard. Daughters Stephanie Blair, Amy Walerski (Philip) and son John Christopher Blair (Dedra). As well as her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grandsons Joseph Smith, Michael Boatright, and Philip Walerski II. Granddaughters Amanda Rule (Chris), Ashley Dice (Matt), Torre Gramling (Daniel), Darian Kent (Chance), Abbey Bravo (Irvin), and Courtney Lee. Great grandchildren Terry, Christopher, Mason, Evan, Jaxon, Caleb, Beaux, Sadie, Lexi, Wyatt, Everly, and Sophia.

The family will have a graveside service on Thursday October 19, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. Any flowers, donations, prayers, and condolences can be sent to 3100 South Cherokee Lane Woodstock, Ga. 30188.
