Polly Ann Moore, of Marietta, GA, passed peacefully on September 15, 2022 at Kennestone Hospital after a long battle with a chronic illness.
Polly was born on September 14, 1962 in Mobile, Al to the late Harry and Bobbie Moore. Polly was one of seven children in the Moore household and graduated from B.C. Rain High School. Polly was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and a deeply passionate friend. Polly was an avid vintage motorcycle enthusiast and die-hard Alabama football fan who devoted her life as a champion for abuse survivors. Throughout her life she became a well-known advocate of victims’ rights as well as a published author and radio host. Polly was a powerful compassionate and optimistic presence in the countless lives that she touched, not only through her advocacy but also with her kindness and spirit.
Polly is survived by her son Christopher Hudson; her grandchildren Lillian Hudson and Elina Hudson; her sister Janet (Moore) Mixon; and her brother Jim Moore.
A celebration of Polly’s life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 2pm.
