Obituary

Ronald McDaniel passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 after complications with lung cancer at the age of 75.

Ronald was the middle child of seven children of Herbert C. McDaniel and Sarah E. Barmore McDaniel.  He was a lifelong resident of Marietta, Georgia and attended Marietta High School.  He retired from the Cobb County Water Department and went on to work for Georgia Blue several years before retiring completely.  He loved working in his yard and planting flowers and taking care of his house and truck. A few of his favorite things were watching the Atlanta Falcons play; win or lose, he was a loyal fan throughout the years. Another guilty pleasure was watching wrestling matches of which he inherited from his father.

Ronald is survived by two sisters: Shelia Ballew of Austell, GA and Susan Culver of Huntsville, AL.  There are many nieces and nephews.

Medford-Peden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 14th at 1:00 p.m. at Mountain View Park Cemetery, Whitlock Avenue in Marietta, GA.  All family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service.
