Stanley Dever Obituary

Stanley “Stan” Herbert Dever was born on January 13, 1964 and passed away in Marietta, GA on
August 5, 2021.

Stan is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Susan Clark, his daughter Brittany Dever, Aurora,
CO and preceded in death by son, Blake Dever.

He was the second child of Stanley Morrow Dever (deceased, 1995) and Angelyn Dever Blackstock
(Allen) and brother to Pam Dever Cosper (Mike) and Brett Dever (Reba) all of Douglasville, GA.
Beloved Uncle to Alexis, Austin, Maris (Jordan) and Brady. Great Uncle to Lila.

Stan graduated from Lithia Springs High School, 1982. He attended East Tennessee State University on
a full football scholarship and graduated in 1986. He began his computer science career with Southern
Bell and retired from AT&T after thirty-one years to fulfill a later calling in home renovation with his
wife at the Marble Mill Arts District.

Stan was loved by many, leaving his fingerprint on each friend, acquaintance and family member. He
will be remembered for loyalty, steadfastness, and quick wit. He loved playing golf, reading, family ski
trips, and spending time at Hilton Head Island with Susan.

A remembrance and celebration of Stan’s life will be held on a future date to be announced. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests donations be made to the glioblastoma foundation (GBM Foundation).
