Tamara Delva

Tamara Delva, age 32 passed away peacefully on June 17th, 2020, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital due to Congestive Heart Failure. Tamara was born on May 17th, 1988, in Port-au-Prince, Carrefour, Haiti, to Zulmene Delva and Gustave Delva. She was loved dearly by her family and friends.

Tamara had a penchant for reading romantic novels. Her favorite Author, Danielle Steel, had written her a note, a fact that she was very proud of. An avid languaphile she taught herself how to speak and read Spanish. She was passionate, loving, caring, resilient, protective, and she had the brightest smile.

Tamara worked at Walmart as a cashier for 2 years. She found the strength to accomplish all of her goals. She got her GED, went to Chattahoochee Technical College to further her dreams for Nursing. Tamara lived to cherish her mother Zulmene Delva, Marietta, GA Brothers Jeff Delva, Smyrna, GA, James Teolus Fort Lauderdale FL, sister-in-law Julie Harris-Delva, her sister Esther Delva, Marietta, GA, and nephew Jameson Teolus, Douglassville, GA, a host of relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her Father Gustave Delva. Tamara will be truly missed.

The family will receive friends on Friday the 26th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for viewing at Medford-Peden Funeral Home & Crematory located at 1408 Canton Rd NE, Marietta, GA 30066. A home going celebration in her honor will be held at 10: 00 a.m. Saturday the 27th at Medford-Peden Funeral Home & Crematory 1408 Canton Rd NE, Marietta, GA 30066. Burial will follow at Mount Harmony Gardens Cemetery; 581 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA 30126
