Virginia Porter Obituary
Virginia T. Porter, age 96, of Kennesaw Ga., died on July 20, 2020 of natural causes.
On June 14, 1947, Virginia married the love of her life Henry C. Porter. Together they raised four children and managed a successful art business. They often traveled the country promoting and selling Henry’s artwork. Caring for her family was her source of joy; she was a dedicated wife and mother. Married for 62 years, Henry predeceased her in 2009.
Virginia is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Robert Thomas, Jr. and Wilma Thomas of Drexel Hill, Pa.; niece, Annette Jenkins; daughters Beti Porter and Lynn Porter; sons, Jan and Mark Porter; four grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held, 11:00am on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta Ga.
