Bruce Wayne Warren

Bruce Wayne Warren, 66, passed away at Halcyon Hospice, Atlanta, GA on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 after a long battle with renal cell carcinoma.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 2 PM at Medford-Peden Funeral Home. He was born to Herbert and Jessie Warren in Lakeview on July 12th, 1949. He grew up in Lakeview and graduated from Lakeview High School with the class of 1967. He then entered the US Navy serving on the USS Piedmont from 1968-1972. Bruce moved to the Atlanta area in 1988 after spending several years living in Wyoming. While in Wyoming he met and married Patti Lopez on June 4th, 1980 and divorced April 14th, 1982.
Bruce worked his last 18 years with a label printing company called Printech Label Corporation as a production artist in Smyrna Ga. He was very much dedicated to the company and enjoyed working with his colleagues and employers.
Bruce enjoyed spending time with friends on the weekends if time and health permitted. He was an aviation enthusiast. He was very close to getting his pilots license when health issues stopped him from continuing his flight lessons. He did complete his 2 required solo cross country flights and was quite happy about that accomplishment.

Bruce was preceded in death by his mother Jessie Mae Conway, Grandmother Ethel Overton, Step Grandfather Del Overton, and Aunt Delpha Plato.

He is survived by Herbert James Warren (Father), Lucille Warren (step mother), Dennis Warren (Brother), Marcia Warren (sister-in-law), Chelsea Warren (Niece) and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; very special friend Randall and many other close friends.
