Cecil Moon

Cecil Moon, 73, a native of East Cobb County passed away in Marietta, Ga on 3/17/2017. Cecil was born in Marietta, Ga to J. Bernard Moon and Nina Moon on 7/14/1943. He attended Sprayberry High School and married Sandra Jean Scott. He worked as a home builder in East Cobb County owning his own business, Cecil Moon Builder, Inc. He was a pioneer to much of Cobb County’s residential homes from the late 1970’s through the early 1990’s. He loved doing carpentry work and building houses. Cecil is preceded in death by Sandra Jean Scott, Wife; J. Bernard Moon, Father; Nina Nix, Mother; and Raymond Moon, Brother. Cecil is survived by, Scott Moon, Son; Melody Moon, Daughter; Becky Shults, Sister; Joyce Pulver, Sister; Herbert Moon, Brother; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6pm-8pm, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Medford Peden Funeral Home on Canton Hwy, Marietta, Ga. Funeral Services will be at 2pm, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Medford Peden Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Cemetery.
