Elton Aubrey Brown, Jr

Elton Aubrey Brown Jr. age 40 passed away on June 7th 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia.  Elton was born to Paulmena Gilmore and Elton Brown Sr. on December 30 1976 in Winter Haven Florida. He is preceded in death by Paulmena Gilmore (Mother) and Susan Kimble (Grandmother). 

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, Father, Elton Aubrey Brown Sr. of Winter Haven FL; Grandfather and Grandmother Mr. Robert Brown and Mrs. Christine Brown; Sisters, Shanel Brown, Jessica Williams, Sheronda Brown, three stepbrothers and sisters in Jacksonville FL, Aunts; Regina Gilmore, Linda Moment, and Antoinette Washington; Uncles Reginald Chaney, Robert Brown, Glendale Brown, Leon Chaney; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

 Elton professed his love for Christ at an early age.  He loved reading his bible as well as praying with and for others. He took great pleasure in making others laugh and smile. After moving to Atlanta in 1997 Elton graduated from Herzing College with a degree in Computer Science. He then began his career working for the Hewlett- Packard Company as well as Urban League of Greater Atlanta.  He had a gentle soul and a forgiving heart that inspired others to be as loving as him.  Elton enjoyed cooking all his life. He also enjoyed laughing over dinner with his family and friends. He always found solace in reading a good book in a coffee shop.  He had an eclectic soul that touched people of all walks of life.   A memorial service will be held in his honor on July 8th, 2017 at 2pm at Fresh Start Church, Duluth, Georgia. Please send all flowers to the church.  Meford Peden Funeral Home to oversee arrangements.
