May God give you peace and comfort during this most difficult time. God promises to remove the pain and heartaches of sickness and death (Rev. 21:3,4). Thus Jesus said that we will see them again. He even showed us what he will do when he raised Lazarus and many others. As you reflect on Brian reflect on God's promises. What a precious hope!

Hey Brian, it was great growing up with you and Mike in Hawaii. Happy memories of Pop Warner, Star Wars figures, watching wrestling, camping, and the list goes on. Thank you for those fun times. Look down on your wife, kids, Mike and his family. Please give a special sign to Uncle Al and Aunt Jeanette to help ease their hearts.

Kristi, Gabriel and Cooper,
We knew Brian from Mira Mesa High School in San Diego. Anthony has many wonderful memories of Brian from high school and has been sharing some with me I hadn't heard. (Brian and Anthony were 2 years ahead of me). One very special memory is of Brian and another friend coming up to me during P.E. To tell me how fond Anthony was of me and mto give me a white rose that was from Anthony. Anthony says if it wasn't for Brian helping him to find the courage to ask me out to the prom we wouldn't be married today and have our beautiful daughter. He will truly be missed, especially by all of his MMHS friends. We send our prayers that you and your family find peace at this trying time.

I am still in shock and at a loss of words. Kristi, Gabe, Cooper and the Evaristo Family, I am so sorry of this great loss of your husband, Dad, brother and son. No words can stop the pain now. But I will pray and ask that God provide you with comfort, endurance and strength to carry on each day. I am glad to have met, work and known Brian for 14 years. We worked on the same team for 13 years and 6 months. When are you with your co-workers so many hours of the day, they are no longer colleagues, they become family. Some are closer than others. Brian was one of my closer ones. He was a very humble, modest, generous and warm spirited person. We loved to laugh, share good family stories, and speak about everything from the news to old school tv shows, toys, video games, children's activities, music and our weekends. We worked together on the Team Building Committee for many years. I remember him playing Lieutenant Dan from the movie, Forest Gump, in one of our Team Building Events and his outfit nailed it. We ran leg races one year in our department carnival. We put on several team shows from Showtime at the Depot to HD Idol, to you name it. Samantha, Brian and I were the three amigos. We shared many family experiences, places to go, things to do and see, even cooking recipes. Our team will never be the same, Home Depot will never be the same. I remember Brian used to tell me "Happy Friday" all of the time, and the running joke was who was going to say it first on Friday. He would always beat me to it. .. I can count on one hand how many times I beat him to the phrase. When I come see my friend for one last time on Friday, I will not say "Happy Friday". . . but see you soon. I am going to remember to smile because it happened, and try not to cry because he is away, temporarily. Love,, Yvonne

I'm so thankful to have had Brian apart of our family. I'm also thankful to have seen him not to long ago. He had such a kind heart, his love for God showed through his character. He reached out to us at one of our most hurtful times. It meant so much. We love you Kristi and those boys. We are covering you with prayer.

Dear Kristi, Gabe, Cooper and the entire Evaristo family: Brian was such an easy person to like and his heart was filled with love and devotion for his family. I was always so happy to see Brian walk down to my side of the floor because I knew he either had photos, videos or cute family stories to share which always brought me joy and happiness to see his excitement and pride for his loving family. The glow on his face and the sparkle in his eyes each time he spoke of you was amazing ... Brian was a truly great man who made our lives better. We pray for you all during this time for strength and comfort in knowing that Brian will always be with you and his love for you will never cease. As he proceeds up to Heaven, memories of his gentle soul will forever be in our hearts. Please hold on tightly to all of your memories which will give you courage to get through this difficult time and remain faithful in God to carry you through. You are in my prayers. Kristi, please accept my deepest condolences. I know that you are experiencing deep pain but please take some comfort in knowing how much Brian adored you and your two beautiful sons. I remember working in the store with Brian on a SSC team. He was so knowledgeable about the store and products and was quite generous in sharing his knowledge with everyone else. I also remember you and the boys coming to several of our social events and thinking what a lovely family. It is obvious he loved and your children more than life itself. Hold on to that love and cherish it forever. God bless.

Brian was one of my first friends when I moved to Atlanta - back in my Home Depot days. I will never forget his laugh, gentle spirit, and just what an amazing person he was. One summer we went to London for a week and had a blast. We loved to laugh about silly things - we both loved the cartoon Pinky and the Brain, so I started calling him Brain. As our lives went separate ways... we would sporadically send messages via Facebook. I randomly looked at FB this morning to see posts of his passing, so I don't even know what happened, but my heart is broken, and I am sending love and prayers to Kristi, their precious sons, and Brian's entire family.
He was an amazing person. May he RIP.

Brian was my co-worker, friend and photography buddy at work. He was the most positive, gentle hearted and kind person I've known. I could always count on Brian to help me take photos for various Home Depot Legal Department events and parties. He lived the values of giving back. His wife and two beautiful children were his world. I am so sad. Our Home Depot legal family will forever miss him and his smile. Brian was a great friend and I can't believe he's gone. I spent a lot of time with him while we were at THD and I counted him as a good friend. I am so so sorry for your loss but I know how happy you made him and how proud of his boys he was and continues to be. I keep thinking about all of the stupid stuff I want to email him and laugh with him about.
